Job summary

Iron Mountain seeks a seasoned Process Engineer for Asset Lifecycle Management & ITAD Operations. You will evaluate, standardize, and optimize workflows across facilities, supporting ITAD activities from receiving to shipping, and work with floor teams to eliminate waste and improve productivity, ergonomics, and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, industrial engineering, continuous improvement, or related roles.
• Experience applying Lean principles in manufacturing, refurbishment, warehousing, or reverse logistics (Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt a plus).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to train and influence multi-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess & Improve Floor Operations: visit facilities, observe workflows, and align with site leaders on gaps.
• Apply Lean & eliminate root causes: map flows, analyze bottlenecks, and use 5S, VSM, Kaizen, standard work to streamline.
• Standardize & document workflows: author SOPs and work instructions for consistent practices across sites.
• Conduct time and motion studies to measure cycle times, labor use, and throughput; track KPIs.
• Optimize floor layouts, tooling, and ergonomics; collaborate with IT/Operations for asset tracking.
