Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a dedicated professional to analyze processes, document business opportunities, and drive improvement initiatives within Operational Excellence. You will collaborate with business leaders, SMEs, and control owners to strengthen processes, controls, and client experiences across the organization.

Responsibilities include documenting end-to-end workflows, monitoring performance, coordinating governance sessions, and supporting regulatory and internal audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management and client protection processes
• Familiarity with process governance frameworks and controls
• Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience supporting regulatory exams, audits, or assessments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support the Process Owner in executing process-management responsibilities and SPI deliverables
• Coordinate with leaders and SMEs to gather, validate, and maintain process information
• Maintain end-to-end process maps with steps, controls, metrics, and risks
• Monitor process performance and escalate material concerns
• Facilitate governance routines and prepare materials for reviews
• Review key processes and control metrics and coordinate improvement action plans
• Track requirements, deadlines, attestations, and action items for timely completion
• Assess workflows against governance standards and raise gaps for resolution
• Support evidence gathering for regulatory exams and audits
• Capture stakeholder feedback to simplify and strengthen processes
• Document, prioritize, and advance improvement opportunities with business-case inputs
• Support implementation and sustainment of process enhancements and training
• Translate process issues into actionable recommendations using data and critical thinking
