Job summary

Hargrove EPC in Mobile, AL seeks a process engineer to perform complete designs under general supervision. You will develop conceptual layouts, cost studies, and detailed calculations, while ensuring safety culture and compliance with standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of industrial process design experience and a degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Biochemical or Petroleum Engineering, with PE registration or CPIP preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, petroleum, or biochemical process design engineering.
• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete designs of process engineering assignments under general supervision.
• Produce design calculations and drawings for projects.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies as needed.
• Review vendor submittals and drawings for conformance to engineering drawings and specs.
• Develop bid packages enabling procurement of equipment, materials or services.
• Mentor younger process engineers and support inter-disciplinary teams.
