Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a Process Engineer to join our site team in Saraland, AL. You will participate in and lead cross-functional teams to address refinery issues, developing engineered solutions with lean and safety in mind.

You will create process design documents, assist with cost estimates, and collaborate with project managers and vendors to advance projects from concept through design. Strong communication and CAD/process software skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, petroleum, or biochemical process design.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams and develop engineered solutions for refinery issues.
• Provide Basis of Design documents and handover to the project group.
• Prepare markups of PFDs and P&IDs and develop initial cost estimates.
• Interface with Process Safety and other disciplines to ensure safe design.
• Collaborate through project stages with vendors, engineers, and project managers.
