Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Mobile, AL seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to design complete piping and process systems for varied projects. You will perform stress analyses, develop constructible layouts, and coordinate with draftspersons to produce deliverables.

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical engineering, a BS or MS in the field, PE preferred, strong communication, and proficiency with CAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete designs of mechanical engineering assignments under general supervision.
• Produce constructible layouts, calculations, and sketches for piping and related systems.
• Assist drafting group and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure timely project delivery.
• Review vendor drawings for mechanical input and support field startup activities.
