Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a detail‑oriented Service Dispatch Coordinator in New York to receive and schedule customer calls for service, manage technician calendars, and ensure timely preventative maintenance in line with monthly forecasts.

Under supervision, you will coordinate labor, communicate the action plan to customers, track time and expenses in NxGen, and support service visits, parts orders, and billing handoffs with a focus on accuracy and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 2–5 years in service operations or scheduling.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule customer calls for service under supervision.
• Manage schedule of technicians and mechanics to meet maintenance goals.
• Coordinate labor to align resources with customer needs and plans.
• Communicate action plans to customers and confirm service scope.
• Ensure work meets customer expectations and document progress in NxGen.
• Assist with parts ordering, PO creation, and time/expense reporting.
