Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities in our Austin properties. You will diagnose defects, perform preventive maintenance, and support make-ready leasing processes.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel within properties as needed. You will work within a team, adhere to safety standards, and complete documentation for work orders.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1 and II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license required to operate golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes ready for leasing by completing pre-move-in inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks inventory, procures materials, and notifies supervisor on reorders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, performs cleaning and painting as needed.
