Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Product Sales Specialist trainer to develop staff, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure accurate product knowledge across the showroom. You will lead certification courses, oversee merchandising standards, and guide associates in pricing, promotion, and inventory flow.

The role emphasizes a strong customer experience, collaborative coaching, and adherence to safety and store procedures in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process transactions at checkout using the POS system, and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs, and maintain department merchandising.
• Stock and organize displays, communicate SOP changes to associates.
• Complete product specialist certifications and ensure accurate product placement and pricing.
• Support forklift proficiency and safety procedures as required.
