Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a trainer for Product Sales Specialists to ensure exceptional customer service and expert product knowledge. The role focuses on coaching, certifications, and merchandising in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position emphasizes directing staff, maintaining floor execution, and delivering effective product presentations to customers across store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive and accurate customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Demonstrate understanding of merchandise and installation.
• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process customers at check-out using the POS system.
• Follow established cash, check and charge card procedures.
• Stock and tag merchandise displays; create price tags and signs.
