Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a trainer to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive outstanding service and product information. The role emphasizes coaching, certification, and strong merchandising of the department.

The candidate will drive the company philosophy around the basics of retail—People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing—while maintaining accurate pricing and stock. Training and adherence to safety procedures are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act and work in a manner consistent with company values.
• Assist and train Product Sales Specialists to provide high-level customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses and develop merchandising knowledge.
• Ensure proper pricing, placement, and presentation of products in the department.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections at checkout.
