Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Pro Experience Manager (Pro XM) to join the store leadership team in North Patchogue, NY. You will oversee Pro customer service, department readiness, and operational processes to drive sales, loyalty, and Pro Xtra signups, while ensuring a fast and accurate customer experience.

As MOD and Store Leader collaborator, you will coach associates, manage staffing, and enforce safety and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of management experience in retail operations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service / Experience - Service Leadership: Model service standards and coach real-time interactions; manage Pro area to minimize wait times and ensure availability; verify Will Calls & Deliveries for accuracy and timeliness; resolve customer concerns and escalate complex issues as needed; recognize high service performance.
• People - Talent Acquisition and Training: Assist with recruitment; ensure Pro KD training is current; provide performance-based coaching and documentation; develop Development Blueprints; support staffing and coverage; enforce policies and hold associates accountable.
• Safety - Hazards and Compliance: Enforce hazmat procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines; ensure safety checklists are completed; train on PPE and safe lifting; maintain clear aisles and communicate safety practices.
• Shared Manager on Duty – Opening & Closing: Perform opening/closing duties; lead department kickoff meetings; verify daily priorities; conduct hand-offs; ensure checklists and safety inspections are completed; align merchandising actions with events.
