Qualifications

• Knowledge of ultrasound physics and cross-sectional anatomy and Doppler.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Assesses patient identity, exam appropriateness, and collects clinical history.
• Positions patients and equipment to acquire optimal images and data.
• Maintains EMR/PACS documentation accurately and timely.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort and privacy.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and adapts to patient age groups.
• Maintains infection control and uses PPE.
• Collaborates with radiologists for appropriate imaging and patient care continuity.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and equipment is safe.
