Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a prn Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams under provider orders. You will verify patient identity, obtain clinical history, and position patients to acquire optimal images while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.

You will document thoroughly in EMR and PACS, collaborate with radiologists, and ensure infection control and safety standards are followed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy to perform independent procedures.
• Must read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Experience with Radiology software and PACS applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness; obtain clinical history.
• Position patients/equipment; optimize images and data for diagnosis.
• Document accurately in EMR/PACS; ensure timely recordkeeping.
