Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and protocols. You will position patients, operate equipment safely, and document findings in the EMR and PACS, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.

Responsibilities include educating patients, maintaining equipment and supplies, and collaborating with radiologists to deliver accurate imaging and timely reports. ARDMS/ARRT eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and Doppler techniques.
• Ability to operate radiology software and PACS proficiently.
• Excellent patient care and clear communication across ages.
• ARDMS or ARRT eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per provider orders.
• Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness and obtain clinical history.
• Document findings accurately in EMR and PACS systems.
• Educate patients about the exam and ensure comfort and privacy.
• Maintain infection control standards and PPE compliance.
