AdventHealth in Riverview, FL is seeking an ultrasound technologist (PRN) to perform diagnostic ultrasound studies with focus on image quality and patient comfort. You will verify orders, document findings, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation.

Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment, adherence to protocols, and clear communication with patients and care teams. Prior experience in Breast, Prostate, or Pediatric imaging is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy to perform independent procedures to Radiologist standards.
• Proficient in data entry and basic computer skills; experience with radiology software and PACS.
• Strong patient care and communication skills across age groups; ability to explain procedures clearly.

Responsabilités

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Identify patient, verify history, and document findings in EMR/PACS.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and privacy throughout the exam.
• Operate imaging equipment safely; adapt protocols for all ages and maintain hygiene.
