Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare seeks a flexible PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes.

Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you’ll guide exercises, monitor progress, educate families, and document visits to support independence and safe home mobility. Ideal for PTAs seeking work-life balance, with reliable transportation and a valid Texas PTA license.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in home settings.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
