Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes. The position emphasizes quality, patient-focused care with a flexible schedule, ideal for PTAs seeking work-life balance or additional income.

The role requires an active Texas PTA license and home health experience is preferred. You will work under a Physical Therapist, documenting visits and ensuring patient progress toward goals in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently in home settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
