Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a Texas-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN home health visits. You will provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes, guiding exercises, monitoring progress, and educating caregivers to support independence and safe home practices.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
