Job summary

Varco Home Health is hiring for a PRN physical therapy assistant to deliver one-on-one in-home therapy. You’ll help patients improve mobility, balance and independence with mentor guidance from a PT.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas PTA license, have strong communication skills, and can work independently in patients’ homes. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to travel between assignments.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
