Job summary

Varco Hospice is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver one-on-one home health therapy. You’ll help patients improve mobility, regain independence, and enhance quality of life in their own homes.

Under a supervising PT, you’ll educate families, monitor progress, document visits, and support patients’ goals. Texas PTA license is required and home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
