Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one in-home therapy, helping patients improve mobility and regain independence. The role offers a flexible schedule, ideal for PTAs seeking work-life balance or additional income.

You will work under a Physical Therapist, assist with exercises, monitor progress, educate families, and document visits. A Texas PTA license is required, with home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments in patients' homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
