Job summary

Varco Home Health provides one-on-one physical therapy in patients' homes, helping them improve mobility and regain independence. This PRN role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for PTAs seeking work-life balance or extra income, with opportunities to work independently in the field.

As a home-health PTA, you’ll support patients in their daily activities, monitor progress, and educate families while documenting visits accurately for continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Experience in home health is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting and communicate clearly with patients and caregivers.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
