Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes. You’ll help improve mobility, independence, and overall quality of life through targeted exercises under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

This role offers a flexible schedule, independence in the field, and meaningful patient-focused care. Texas PTA license is required; home health experience is preferred, and reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas PTA license.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
