Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver one-on-one therapy in patients' homes, helping improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.

As a PTA, you’ll work under a Physical Therapist, support home exercise programs, and educate patients and caregivers while maintaining accurate documentation and a flexible schedule. This role is ideal for PTAs seeking work-life balance or additional income, with consistent patient volume and independence in the field.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner
• Support patient goals and functional independence
