Job summary

Varco Hospice provides one-on-one physical therapy in patients’ homes across Texas. This PRN role offers a flexible schedule ideal for PTAAs seeking work-life balance and supplemental income.

You will deliver therapy under a Physical Therapist, guiding exercises to improve mobility and independence. You’ll educate families on home programs, document visits, and maintain patient progress while staying reliable and autonomous in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.

Skills

Texas PTA license

Home health experience preferred
