Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes on a PRN basis in the Houston area. The role focuses on mobility, independence, and safety, with a flexible schedule and meaningful, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include guiding exercises, monitoring progress, educating patients and caregivers, and documenting visits. Texas PTA license required; reliable transportation and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
