Job summary

Varco Home Health in Texas seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes. This PRN role focuses on improving mobility, independence, and quality of life through in-home treatments under a supervising PT.

You’ll assess and guide patients in exercises, monitor progress, educate families, and document visits with accurate competency. A Texas PTA license is required and reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and timely.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
