Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for one-on-one home health visits in Texas. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule designed for work-life balance or additional income, with independence in the field and meaningful patient-focused care.

Responsibilities include delivering treatments under a PT, guiding exercises, monitoring progress, educating patients and caregivers, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
