Job summary

Varco Home Health in Texas is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy support in patients' homes. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule, ideal for work-life balance or additional income for PTAs.

Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will help patients improve mobility, balance, and independence, educate families on home exercise programs, and document visits promptly. A Texas PTA license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
