Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes, helping them improve mobility and independence. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for PTAs seeking work-life balance or extra income in the Houston area.

You will work under a Physical Therapist, monitor progress, educate families on home programs, and document visits. Texas PTA license is required, with home health experience preferred and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
