Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes on a PRN basis. The role supports mobility, balance, and independence, with a flexible schedule ideal for those seeking work-life balance or extra income.

Responsibilities include delivering treatments under a PT, guiding home exercise programs, monitoring progress, and maintaining timely documentation. Texas PTA license required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
