Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens, TN, is seeking a PRN PBX Administrative Assistant to operate the switchboard, assist with patient check-in, and provide clerical support across the Patient Access team. You will handle calls, page staff, and help with registration for services like Medical Records, MRI, and stress tests.

The role requires a high school diploma, customer service experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment is preferred.
• PBX/switchboard, call center, reception, or related experience is helpful but not required.

Responsabilités

• Operate hospital PBX/switchboard, route calls accurately and professionally.
• Page staff and communicate announcements per procedures.
• Announce emergency codes and manage urgent communications calmly.
• Assist visitors, patients, callers, staff and other customers with information.
