Job summary

Akumin is hiring a PRN MRI Technologist for South Florida facilities to produce high-quality diagnostic images and support imaging services close to home. You will perform MRI procedures, manage contrast administration, and coordinate with licensed practitioners, radiologists, and care teams while remaining compliant with HIPAA and site policies.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification (or as allowed by contract), state license if applicable, CPR/BLS, and at least three years of

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract
• State license, if applicable
• CPR Certification, BLS from AHA or ARC
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for patient safety and pre-screening as required
• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Demonstrate competency in contrast safety and administration
• Train and orient new staff as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
