Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist for PRN coverage at our South Florida facilities. The role involves producing high-quality MRI images, preparing and documenting contrast administration, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state licensure if required, CPR/BLS, and at least 3 years of technologist experience. Travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize patient flow.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality MRI images for interpretation.
• Prepare, administer and document contrast administration per policy.
• Maintain patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Train and orient new staff as needed.
• Cover shifts across multiple Florida sites as a PRN technologist.
