Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images and support licensed practitioners across multiple sites. You will be responsible for patient safety, contrast administration, and accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS/DICOM systems.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification where contract allows, valid state licensure, CPR/BLS, and 3+ years of experience. You will work on-site with flexible shifts across our South Florida facilities,

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract.
• State license, if applicable.
• CPR/ BLS/ ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 3 years technologist experience.
• Ability to work at several locations.

Responsibilities

• Produce cross-sectional MRI images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Assist licensed practitioners in MRI procedures as required.
• Prepare, document, and administer contrast per policy and law.
• Maintain patient safety and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Train and orient staff as needed.
• Cover shifts as a PRN technologist across locations.
