Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist for our South Florida facilities to perform MRI procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification as applicable, state licensure where required, and CPR/BLS/ACLS where applicable. Travel between sites and flexible coverage are essential components of the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification permitted by contract.
• State license where required.
• CPR/BLS/ACLS certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images following protocols and standards.
• Administer and document contrast administration per regulations and policies.
• Acquire data for diagnosis and coordinate with radiologists and clinicians.
• Operate and become proficient with EMR, PACS and DICOM systems.
• Train and orient new technologists and staff as needed.
