Job summary

Akumin is hiring a PRN MRI Technologist for our South Florida facilities. The role requires producing MRI images, managing contrast administration, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced radiology setting.

You will work with licensed practitioners to perform MRI procedures across multiple sites and respond to coverage requests within a 30‑day window. Qualified candidates have ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT where applicable, state licensure, CPR/BLS, and a minimum of 3 years technologist experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract.
• State license, if applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images and follow imaging protocols.
• Prepare, administer and document contrast administration according to laws and policy.
• Communicate with radiologists and staff; maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
