Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist for our South Florida facilities on a per-diem basis. You will produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic interpretation, perform contrast administration, and ensure high quality imaging in a regulated environment.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state licensure where applicable, CPR/BLS, and clinical competency across MRI platforms. You will interact with radiologists, nursing staff and patients, maintain HIPAA compliance, and train

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification; state license in applicable region.
• CPR certification and BLS from AHA/ARC; ACLS where applicable.
• Minimum 3 years technologist experience.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images per protocols.
• Administer and document contrast per policy and regulations.
• Maintain EMR, PACS and DICOM proficiency for image sharing.
• Train and orient new technologists and staff as needed.
• Ensure patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and clear communication with radiologists.
