Job summary

Concentra in San Francisco, Potrero Hill, is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to join our patient care team. The MSS supports clinicians, performs routine procedures, triages when needed, and handles front/back office duties to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will take vital signs, assist during exams, manage registries, and maintain accurate documentation while upholding HIPAA and safety guidelines. This role offers a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities within occupational medicine.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, or at least one year of direct patient care.
• Military medical experience accepted if credentials meet state requirements.
• State credentials and applicable regulations must be met.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for examinations and take vital signs.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Handle front/back office duties and maintain documentation.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
