Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient care team in Austin, TX. The MSS will perform routine medical procedures under supervision, assist clinicians, and manage front/back office tasks to ensure a smooth patient flow and excellent experience.

Candidates should have vocational/technical training or equivalent experience, and be prepared to handle vital signs, rapid screenings, and documentation while adhering to HIPAA and safety rules. DOT testing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, or at least one year of direct patient care experience.
• Military medical specialist experience considered if credentials meet state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology; familiarity with occupational medicine preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations, including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examination and treatment.
• Handle clerical tasks in front and back office, ensure accurate documentation.
