Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking registered nurses to provide in-home infusion therapy services on a PRN basis across its service area. You will perform catheter access, monitor vitals, administer meds such as antibiotics, TPN, IVIG, and collect blood samples as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing and competency in infusion duties.
• Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and access to a printer/scanner/fax.
• Ability to communicate promptly with scheduling personnel.
• PRN/home infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (Peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines), vitals and assessments.
• Administer medications including Abx, TPN, IVIG and other specialty meds; perform blood draws.
• Educate patients on self-administration of medications.
• Document visit notes in electronic charting promptly.
