Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver home infusion therapy and catheter maintenance for patients across North Carolina. The role emphasizes compassionate, personalized care with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.

The RN will educate patients, perform infusion-related tasks, and document visits promptly using the agency's scheduling technology. Mileage reimbursement and simple IRA with company match are provided as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with competency in infusion therapy and catheter maintenance and care.
• Experience in infusion therapy and catheter maintenance is required.
• Ability to educate patients on self-administration of medication and care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines) and monitor vitals.
• Administer medications as prescribed (Abx, TPN, IVIG and other meds).
• Provide patient education and make timely visit notes in electronic health records.
