Job summary

Helms Home Care in Ellijay, GA is seeking a licensed registered nurse for PRN home infusion therapy, delivering compassionate, personalized care to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities include administering medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and others), catheter care, vitals, patient education, and timely charting of visit notes using our scheduling technology.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license; must satisfy the duties described above.
• Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy or catheter maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and access to a printer/scanner/fax.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication.
• Submit visit notes through electronic charting promptly.

Qualifications: Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
