Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking registered nurses to provide in-home infusion therapy and compassionate, personalized care for patients in their homes. This PRN position covers Wayne Cross, GA, with flexible visit scheduling and mileage reimbursement.

The role involves catheter access and care, IV infusions, patient education, and timely documentation using electronic charting. Competitive pay and opportunities for advancement are offered, with simple IRA and health benefits included.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license (RN)
• Minimum 1 year infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance experience
• Reliable transportation to and from patient homes
• Must communicate promptly with scheduling personnel
• Expect to perform 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance

Responsibilities

• As per the patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly
