Job summary

Helms Home Care LLC in Waycross, GA is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for home infusion care. You will perform catheter access, monitor vitals, administer IV meds, and provide care in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.

• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax.

• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines), vitals and medication administration.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication.
• Submit visit notes through electronic charting promptly.

Responsibilities

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

QualificationsRequirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
