Job summary

Helms Home Care Llc is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN home infusion nursing in Calhoun, GA.

The RN will perform infusion therapy in patients' homes, including IV access, vitals, assessments, and administration of medications, with emphasis on compassionate, personalized care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required and competent in infusion duties.
• Minimum 1 year infusion therapy or catheter maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and access to a printer/scanner/fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (antibiotics, TPN, IVIG) and blood draws.
• Educate patients on self-administration of medications.
• Submit visit notes via electronic charting promptly.

Responsibilities:

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

QualificationsRequirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
