Job summary

Helms Home Care in Atlanta, GA is seeking a registered nurse to provide PRN in-home infusion therapy. The role includes catheter access, vitals assessment, medication administration, and patient education during home visits.

Candidates must hold an active RN license with at least 1 year in infusion therapy or catheter care, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license with insurance. Flexible scheduling supports multiple weekly visits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy or catheter care.
• Reliable transportation and access to a printer/scanner/fax.
• Prompt communication with scheduling personnel.
• Expect to perform 2 visits per week.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines) and vitals/assessments.
• Administer medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds) and perform blood draws.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication.
• Submit visit notes through electronic charting promptly.

Responsibilities:

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
