Job summary

Helms Home Care in Jackson, GA is seeking a PRN RN to provide home infusion nursing services with compassion and personalized care. The role involves performing catheter access, IV therapy, and patient education in patients' homes, with multiple visits available and a simple IRA plan.

Qualified candidates hold a current RN license with infusion therapy experience, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. Expect to complete two visits per week and coordinate scheduling efficiently.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum 1 year infusion therapy or catheter maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax.
• Prompt communication with scheduling personnel.
• Expect to perform 2 visits per week.
• Licensed driver with valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care ( peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines) including vitals, assessments, and medication administration.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medications.
• Submit visit notes through electronic charting promptly.

Responsibilities:

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

Qualifications: Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
