Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes. This PRN role offers a flexible schedule, ideal for PTA professionals seeking work-life balance or additional income.

You will work under a Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility and independence while documenting visits accurately. Texas PTA license is required, with home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
