Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an experienced Event Sales Manager to grow private event business for an upscale hospitality and entertainment operation in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This hands-on role generates new business, converts inquiries into bookings, and coordinates exceptional events from planning through execution.

The ideal candidate is commercially driven, highly organized, creative, and collaborates with culinary, service, and entertainment teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of event sales or related hospitality experience.
• Proven track record generating event revenue and meeting sales goals.
• Established DFW business relationships preferred.
• Experience coordinating events in restaurants or hospitality venues.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Familiarity with CRM or event management systems.
• Willingness to work on-site and attend events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Generate new event business through prospecting, networking, and relationships.
• Manage inbound inquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close bookings.
• Develop event packages and customized offerings to meet client needs.
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and event management process.
• Coordinate event logistics with culinary, beverage, service, and entertainment teams.
• Oversee client communication and event execution.
• Develop repeat business through corporate accounts, planners, and referrals.
• Collaborate with marketing to support event sales initiatives.
• Track bookings, sales activity, and revenue performance.
